WHO IS UFFIE?
That is the question, still not even close to breeching her 24th Birthday the queen of underground forward dance(if that is a genre)has finally released her debut album Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans on Ed Banger records. With the anthems 'pop the glock' and 'the party'already soldered into the brains of any worthwhile party-goer, her new tune is a welcome additon.Featuring Pharrell the star power helps to elevate it. The vocal mixture has a guitar riff responsibility, succeeding in making a super fresh banging yet suave summer tune. It has been on repeat for about 2 weeks now on my computer, Upon listening to it I cannot help but feel as if I’m in a sweaty club somewhere in the first Arrondissement of Paris. Uffie really is as unique(in sound and background) as they come and in a selfish sort of way I don’t want her to become so mainstream that my 13year old Brother has her songs on his phone.
